A2/1 is the first step of the A2 level and builds on a solid A1 foundation. We continue with my sentence-pattern based method: clear pattern explanations, many example sentences, short language info docs with real German tips, and lots of natural dialogues with voice recordings. In A2/1 you learn to talk more freely about daily life: giving opinions and reasons, comparing options, telling simple stories in the past, and handling typical situations (at work, with friends, at the doctor, on the phone, when travelling, etc.). We meet regularly in live video sessions, and you have 24/7 access to our WeChat group to practise, connect with other students, and ask questions.

I’m Klaus, a passionate language trainer for Chinese learners. For many years, I have been teaching German to Chinese students – in China, in Germany, and mostly online. As a passionate language learner myself, I know exactly how it feels to struggle with speaking. That’s why I created my own method: sentence-pattern-based learning with lots of natural dialogues from real life. In my courses, we practice how people really speak – step by step, in a friendly, clear, and motivating way. My goal is simple: to help you speak with confidence and enjoy your journey into the German-speaking world.
