About this course
A1/1 is a “speak from day 1” course for Chinese learners who want real, everyday German — not just grammar theory. In small, high-energy online classes, we work with 100+ high-frequency sentence patterns, example sentences, and hundreds of natural dialogues, so you can quickly handle basic conversations with confidence. You get clear explanations in English and Chinese, plus MP3 audio, notes, and easy-to-use materials for practice, review, and self-testing. Over 5 weeks (the number of live sessions depends on your chosen package), you build a solid A1/1 foundation and learn how people really speak in daily life — not how a textbook thinks they should.
Learning outcomes
Speak surprisingly fluently about simple everyday topics
Even at this beginner stage, the goal is not slow, hesitant word-by-word speaking. You learn to build simple sentences with flow, using patterns, fillers, and practical speaking tools that keep you talking. You just keep the grammar simple and use filler words.
Introduce yourself and talk about basic personal topics
You'll be able to say who you are, where you're from, what you do, which languages you speak, and talk simply about your family, hobbies, food, daily life, and interests.
Build correct basic sentences in the present tense
You work with the most important beginner sentence patterns, so you can produce many useful sentences quickly and with more confidence.
Ask and answer common questions
Yes/no questions, W-questions, and simple spoken question patterns used in real everyday communication.
Handle basic German word order with more confidence
You begin to understand how German sentences are built, where the verb goes, and how negation works.
Talk about routines, preferences, and plans
You'll be able to say what you do, what you like and dislike, what you want, and what you plan to do.
Connect ideas instead of speaking only in isolated short sentences
You start linking ideas with words like and, but, or, because — giving your speech more flow and a more natural rhythm.
Use fillers and fixed expressions to sound more natural
A major goal of this course: you don't sound blocked. You learn practical expressions that help you react, gain time to think, and keep speaking.
Understand and use the most important beginner grammar
Gender, articles, personal pronouns, present tense, modal verbs, accusative case, negation, possessives, plurals, time expressions, and first reason clauses.
Speak and write in a simple but active way from the beginning
You don't just understand German passively — you already use it actively, in speaking and in short writing tasks, from Day 1.
